"Intense energy and incredible improvisation are components of the best bluegrass jam sessions, and that's the level of musicianship we'll hear." Wernick, a founding member of bluegrass supergroup Hot Rize, has performed and recorded with virtuoso musicians like Chris Thile (Nickel Creek), Jerry Douglas (Alison Krauss + Union Station), and Peter Rowan (Old And In The Way). His best-selling instructional books, CDs and videos include Bluegrass Banjo, Bluegrass Songbook, and How to Make a Band Work.
