BLUEGRASS LINKS

For those of you who don't know about bluegrass music, I will tell you from my heart that it is better than just about anything. Its roots are in the rolling emerald hills of Ireland, in the vast plains of Africa, in the lonely mountains of Appalachia, and in the soul of a man who lies in a grave in rural Kentucky. It is music of the finest caliber, played on fiddles and banjos and mandolins, and sung with voices that ring clear and true.

A long time ago, when I was an obnoxious little kid running around bluegrass music festivals all up and down the East Coast, I would follow the performers around with my dog-eared autograph book, trying to collect as many signatures as they'd give me.

That book is gone now, along with my fabulous Barbie airplane, my EZ Bake oven, my Robby Benson scrapbook, and most of my virtue. But in the immortal words of the incomparable Dick Smith, whose autograph I still remember well,

BALUEGRAYUS RULEZ!

Listed below are some bluegrass links that I find truly delightful. And I hope you do, too.
